My soul is not pure enough to begin to understand
The sacredness of His sacrifice the pain endured for man
I try to see His shining face to comprehend His glory
But such as me here on the earth cannot understand
His glory

One such as He who stands above the man and woman
This one who lowered down to us to bring us back to Him
Blood pouring forth from every pore my sins I can’t remove
Brings many here to ponder much the only Son of man in
His glory

Bark peeled off the olive tree from hands so heavenly
As He yelled out to God above to fulfill His destiny
Bruised and beaten just for us I cry to take my part
He came here for this purpose to save us from the start in
His glory

My hope relies upon Him as does all here on earth
I stare out to the stars above for He removed my curse
My heart belongs to only Him in a sacred holy fashion
For what he’s done for you and me I honor Him in
His glory
