Desire is the starting point of all achievement, not a hope, not a wish, but a keen pulsating desire which transcends everything.

Napoleon Hill

..........................................................................

A dream developed within my mind

like a pearl inside its incumbent shell

if I could but, push the boat out a little further

I might indeed, reach the other side of the shore

where the old comes to an end, and the new begins

and I am freed, from the chains that bind and hold

enabled to soar, like a condor on the thermals

and go, where no man has gone before

no longer to feel, the earthly pull or strain

because my mind, is crystal clear and unfettered

would you come along too, to see the view

that I have discovered, to be oh so true

where the lamb lies down, in peaceful abode

and the lion of Judah, welcomes everyone

to feast one and all, at his table of joy

I tell you categorically, this is no dream

Sir Peter of the Cornucopia of Truth ...

And dear friend ... I concur with you categorically that when the trump sounds that the dead in Christ shall rise and those that remain alive will be gathered together to be with their Lord forever.

Why do I feel that day is closer than ever before. You speak eloquently of the translation of the Bride of Christ, and of the thousand year period of peace on earth that will follow the second coming of Jesus Christ.

If goosepimples could be bartered as currency, I could retire today.

The lamb will lie with the lamb and a child will be able to play safely beside the viper. I catgorically believe in this world that you believe in, Peter. Like the apostle Paul who desired to be with Christ which was far better, we have to stay on this side of the golden shore until the good Lord calls us home.
I am always stirred to read poems that are penned by faith.
Amen.
Regards
Dai

PS
I always regarded Saltcoats as a 'snobby' place when I was a kid. This regard was governed by my attitude to the only briefcase carrying pupil at our school who bragged about going to Saltcoats. 'Smug get,' I thought.
