True Love

Dedicated to two very special friends...

Two intertwined
Living separately but as one
Independent in action
United through emotion

Euphoria of the soul
Proclaimed in words
Celebrated in song
Expressed through touch

Gazing at stars
Setting no limits
Destiny has been set
Who are we to challenge

Fears will surface
Doubts will arise
But in the end it is certain
That true love conquers all

This is a lovely write. It is pleasing to see two people truly committed to each other, who have that deep connection because it's a rare thing. ~~Nordette

This is a sweet summary of love and one so true to the heart. I believe this is the first time I have reviewed one of your works Anne, but I think it will not be the last.

I really like this.
True love conquers all.
Love certainly seems to conquer me often enough.

You are right, Anne. True love is everything. But, take it from me. Things can happen that really change the way it ought to be. I am going through this right now. Your poem is beautiful and most meaningful to me. Thank you. Love and peace. Regis
