Nordette, you're quite an accomplished poet. You have captured the essence of man's inhumanity to man quite well in this poem. Will he ever change? Not without repentance and a turning back to God.
I like the way you and Aberjhani support each other. You're a remarkable pair.
Thank you for visiting my site; much appreciated.
God Bless
Much love,
Lena

| Beautiful sonnet and ode for the bloodied soul of mankind. May the peace of Parnassus drop as dew from poets pens to quicken our thirst for restitution and revival. Inspired rhyming, Nordette. LOL K xx |

Your title grabbed me, Nordette, with it's immediate timelessness, the 'O' Poetry', I think I mean.
I was not disappointed, rather, gratified, not so much for quality, that is your talent, but, for pathos, and word-smithing and syllabic placement. Lovely in rhyme and timely in content.

We all pray for peace and curse our neighbors, we are an interesting and angry lot as a whole, arent's we? Our ire flares up so easily on both a personal and an international level leaving us waring on every front. We are going to have to find a way to elevate the human spirit if we are ever going to know the comfort of living in a harmonious world. Excellent cry for peace and understanding, Nordette.
Take care,

Prophecy as an inspired message or a coined prediction can be enforced to become history or can be changed. The receiver and the deliver will have the credit for making a direful future become magnificent and splendorous one or to make a life of bonanza become starvation and serfdom. It is up to the leaders of the planet to decide, and it is up to the people to aye, aye for them or nay, nay, and show them that their power can only remain under peoples will.
When a cloud of love fell on the tree of wisdom, and left a dew of bliss on the leaf of Your heart, Poet ~ this composition formed as an ENGLISH SONNET ~ was written to be enjoyed and studied through the millennia by those that enjoy The Major Art. A poetic excellence to enrich the treasure of The American Fine Letters.
Thank You for posting this poetic flower, "O' Poetry, Sing Sweetly".
I salute You, Poet.
