Born of Solitude

Touch my fingertips

Hold my hand Come, walk with me

Along Life's riverbank

To a destination yet unknown

Yet finite, in its natural form

Let the waters swell

Let them roil, recoil

Let them do their worst

Let them still our thirst

Sweet nectar, salty brine

As long as you're my guide I'll stay by your side

For all time Eternity's loom

Fate and Destiny

Form the Tapestry

Upon which to weave

A pattern so bold

Unique and beautiful

The Stars grow bright with Joy

So lead me onwards

But let me shed tears

For all the losses, for all the fears

Such, then, is life

We must move forward

Even as we must endure

To stand still

Would ill

befit you and me...

Hmmm! Good flow - begins as a story and ends as an enigma. I really like it. You hook the reader at the outset.

Inspiring words - the positive spiritual side flows from your pen here. I was on a similar page earlier this week, so I could really relate to this poetry. 'Onward and upward' they say, this work brings new meaning to that phrase for me - thank you for this. Hugs Panda :)
