Become a Fan

From the depths of sleep and dark,
I watch over you with one eye closed.
Some call me Mother Moon.

In the silence of the night,
new life emerges and old life rests
in this Mother's arms.

I gaze down in awed wonder
And sometimes I shed a tear for you.
For I am the Goddess of the Night.
