Honor the largest animal you'll see

Gigantic ears, ivory tusks and a long trunk

Elephants need to drink lots, but never get drunk

Hearded together Trumpeting to warn

Heard at first at the break of morn

Known for its memory which we wish was ours

And a life as long as as we have in our powers.

A relative in India with a smaller ear

No wonder it seems that they can't hear

A bath of mud with a trunk to clean

Handsome isn't he? Yes he knows what I mean.
