Ruth, you out there somewhere? Hope you have/have had a wonderful life.
|
We had love,
now we have memories.
Of times,
and places,
which no longer exist.
Love touched us,
for one shining instant,
and then passed on.
To leave us with the memory of how love was.
We tried to hold on,
in vain.
Once it starts to go,
none may stop it.
So now we have found it again.
Not with each other.
With someone else.
I will remember how our love was,
and be better for it.

| A wondeful thought. How wonderful it would be to relive our lives our way, without interferance from others and rewrite the past and change the present...........we cannot. |

I wish everyone could acknowledge a past love with such grace.
