I lay in a room created not for me.
Its bare walls stare down at me,
oppressing me with their blankness.
I wish for a quiet hilltop,
a gentle breeze,
and someone to share it with.
My mind feels like this room,
without you.
Neat, orderly, this here, that there,
but with one thing missing.
Me,
the part you have.
Just as this room
is not mine to do with as I wish.
Neither are you.
You are distant,
many miles seperate us.
Like opposite walls in a room.
I've got you in my mind.
In memories,
warm summer days,
cool love filled nights.
I feel like half of a plan.
Not complete without you.
Together one,
seperate two
like opposite walls in a room.

| Losing someone you love is a devastating thing. It takes years to heal the wounds, and sometimes they never heal. Anyway, I hope life takes a turn for the better for you soon. |

Walls were meant to be remodeled. And that means more skylights in the ceiling. Get ready to let the sun shine back into your life.
