Lonely Empty Arms

~ Lonley Empty Arms ~

Under a blanket of moonlight

warm winds murmur softly

I whisper into the darkness

wanting to be where you are

Leaning back I close my eyes

letting my mind wander

as thoughts caress your memory

My love for you plays out

in symphonic waves

that tease and tantalize

my very core

As erotic visions of love

dance across me

softly as a lover’s fingers

they glide like satin sheets

across sensual thoughts

I let them continue building

with a gradual crescendo

touching memories of passion

building and cresting

in a velvet delta

Until you return to my arms

I will clothe myself in patience

my love
