~ More Random Thoughts ~

(freestyle Haiku)

chill wind moaning

as a  pile of colorful leaves

scattered like wishes

as if loneliness perched on

telephone lines like a crow

autumn’s chill lingered

waking up with someone else’s

dream on your tongue

inhaling in anticipation

a winter type wind

lifts the cats fur

then moves on

dark grey clouds

drooped towards the earth

heavy with intention

a door pushes open

announcing a burst of cold air

laced with exhaust fumes

Carole, I'm always impressed by your haiku moments.
This one strikes home:

Wonderful, Carole...each one of these bear all of nature's treasures. More Random Thoughts bear well in the outside world where material wealth looks pretty poor compared to the simplicity of your haiku's...

Carole, your haikus may be random, but the message of each imparts the finishing touches to your magnificent photograph -- "chill wind moaning, as a pile of colorful leaves, scattered like wishes" -- a story repeated throughout our lives, beautiful dreams scattered and dispersed by the harsh winds, the bite of reality -- my favorite -- peace and love my dear friend -- Jon Michael

I didn't know what a Haiku was and read "More Random Thought" as a poem and, though I didn't understand the signafince in the sequence of the verses, when I finished and realized what you had written, each verse, or, I assume, each Haiku took on a beauty of its own.

Carole,
I like each and every one, the images are sharp and rich; if I had to choose one, it'd be the dark grey clouds "heavy with intention" - that one is highly vivid and evocative.
Fine work.
