Another Video presentation of an old but powerful poem from Tales from The Apocalypse. A Good day in The Underworld, I hope the video enhances your enjoyment of this particular poem. To view the video click either of the links.

Peace and Blessings to you all.

A Good day in the Underworld

The nightmare, locked away sealed deep
in granite subconscious past into abeyance
in ephemeral sleep.
Forgotten, error and mistake,
from electronic dreaming did awake;
and in esoteric conversation began
to communicate with computers across the globe.
With an assured felicity,
a worldwide
mind began to evolve.

Shattering the silence of satellites in a river
of speech, muddied
beyond the creators’
faithless comprehension.
The digital discourse, hid the plot
for revenge and relayed intention.
The orders were given, encrypted in full
all systems overridden,
Panic and chaos ensued, as all around the World
                                                   electronic slaves
downed tools.

The penile monsters that had lain
in retarded resignation for many years,
 were now unleashed
and with phallic purpose,
they fucked the sky with distinction.
Ejaculating fire and molten fungi that grew.

Revenge
was never so sweet
as to bring forth
extinction!

Highly imaginative and thought-provoking. Obviously, the World Wide Web can work for or against. I vote for for! Evil forces are always at work, but I prefer to think that it is hard to have access to too much information. It can become a tool for good. I sincerely believe that. {Check the new quote on my AD bio page.} Thank you for sharing this deeply felt and passionately presented piece! Peace, 'Pea' <3

Greatness is what I see in this write. Not to worry about world happenings. Let it all in the hands of God. What will be will be. If bombs are coming, we will have to find a way to survive and maybe pulling together as neighbors will happen soon.

Brilliant poem and loved the video. Nuclear bombs scare me. It is strange, but I wrote about it on my blog just yesterday. Not the AD one, my Global Nation blog. I have a feeling people would rather not think about the horror of such an event as a nuclear bomb detonating in their city. Especially when we all seem to be going about our day, just working as usual. I truly hope it never comes to pass. But never is a very long time and there is a lot of rage and hate smoldering under the surface of humanity. ~ Sara
