| This is felt and seen, Linda. Sorrow, deep sentiment with a loving nostalgia all combine to make this a very compelling and moving poem. Superb flow to your words as your anguish seems to drive your pen onwards. Your love for this place gives the feel of the desolation, perhaps even guilt, that you feel at having to leave it to its fate. And your whole essence seems to know and intertwine with its very fabric. Beautifully rendered and expressed. Bless you, Kate xx |

Any requiem will be shrouded with sadness, then again, if love was there that sadness will have a secret smile at knowing that peace was declared in another place after a bid for eternity.
A poem to read and ponder.

Linda,
This poem sings, sings beauty and lament, loss and pain, the details so rich and vivid, and the fluency of expression is masterly.
A real beauty!
