on any day thereís
somewhere war
division at itís very worst

gunpowderís the ace of choice
in its multiple forms
and calibers

used by single lone deranged
raged into groups
whole nations

united in separating
human bodies perforated
bleeding losing parts blown asunder
arms legs toes and heads

if only words could have
the power of gunpowder.
