of intolerance
of hate
now have
a pet
canary in
a prison cage
he can sing
through his
bars to
the world
while daily
his cage is
cleaned and
fresh food
is fed
he will
be cared
for carefully
his only
life now is
to sing
sing
sing.

ecxellent write, makes me think of sweetie, the canary we had when i was small. he was all yellow, and he sang his little birdie heart out; but then he got old, got arthritis, and one day, we found him dead in his cage, his beautiful voice silenced forever. he was a good little pet!
