Jerry opened his
comments with "morality"
as the centeral theme
When he took a breath
i suggested the term
"social control"
But it turned out
morality can only come
via God and Jesus Christ
Jerry had approached
my table at McDonald's
indicating an interest in my poetry
Whenever i spoke
he interrupted me
quickly negating my words
After a while i said
"Jerry, this is a public place
you sat, now get up"
We shook hands smiling,
standing tall looking down
he said:
"The only difference between
you and me is I know the truth
and you do not."
