Juices

this isn't Mars-
life is juices
not just Kool-Aid
but spit and sneeze

juices' style is motion
cloud to rain to cloud again
even ice cream
was one time rain

whose wet coolness
allows long growth
as the 17 year stink-lily
and common dandelions

dryness, is only juices
gone away, gives deserts
the start of
back to Mars again

but life's best wonderful
juices that repeat
endlessly varied are
those of intimacy.
