my wish: to only build
sandcastles in readers'
minds, maybe their hearts
my poetry is free, only
air mixed with vibrations
wafting the ears
playing briefly with their
minds and looking for
a smile, a nod, perhaps a wink
other poets can have
the contests heaping glory
and riches on the winners
the fine literary publications
prestigious reading exposure
writers' retreats and summer camps
leave me the internet

Over 500 Hits

Today two of my postings will break through 500 hits each. One is a poem, "My wish." The other is an article, "Brothers and Sisters." I am very happy about this for two reasons. First, because of all the material I have up on AuthorsDen.com these have been reader selected as being the most important. Secondly, the ideas expressed by each of these pieces are an expression of my way of doing things-my ideas of what I should be doing-my ideas of how I do my business and how I live my life. Thank you....I tried to download this but my server was full of shit so I never stayed online long enoug to complete the download....will give it another try soon!!
Thanks for sharing!! About you hit count...did uou know every time you hiyt your own poem it shows as a hit by a visitor aswell. Yip I tested myself and it's true!!So if you go back to your own poem 20 times a day you will have 20 extra hits on your stats thingy....rather refresh rhan going back to get a truer count!!
