Watchtower

Founded by insurgents
now a nation of imperialists
scoffing at International Law
and Geneva Conventions

employing torture nations
to hold our prisoners
the patriots march
lockstep over civil rights

while promoting fear
and divisiveness amongst
the civilian population
no longer united

but color coded
red or blue accordingly
as to those who will live
and those who will die

when on high releases
the forces of truth
and kindness to win
the looming battle of armageddon.

An intereting and intriquing write and one that leaves a lot of questions to be addressed.

"International law deals with the relationships between states, or between persons or entities in different states.

In addition, states adopted a number of spoken or unspoken conventions that dictated their interaction with each other. These range from rules of chivalry on the battlefield to diplomatic protocol."

I'm not a political person, so I've done a search on the topic "International Law" and the above definition came up for me. I guess it is sad to see the world as it is now after this law was made, and seems now no one is adhering to it.

Good insightful piece, Henry!
