My Twill is Tasted: I Mean…My Tale is Twisted

A demonstration of how such stories as Aesop's Fables, student word play, inadvertent slips of the lip can contribute to hilarious verbal and written language mishaps...

Where are the poets?

where are the poets
so needed today
speak up speak out
we see must say

our piece our voice
red blue green
raised clear and high
not left alone to die

loud shout a scream
no sigh not cry
but clear and high
across the mountains

shattering reverberating
beyond the sky
an arrow a spear
clear shrill showing

we see we feel
we won't be muzzled
poets have always sung
where they now?

Ahh my friend we are all still here and our hearts are still true sometimes we fall to the cost of our passions, sometimes we waver in indecision and remorse, but always we struggle back to the surface as you yourself do to speak out for those who can't. This poem though is a great reminder for of us of our need in today's society.

Thanks for this. It's well stated.
Here's hoping it will have a domino effect.
