Sadly

Sadly

truth has
wet the bed
the world over

the church
the president
his staff

if these
can't hold
what vessel can

what wafer
what wine
not poisoned

can we
feed drink
for nourishment

not hate
war terror
flaming cities

perhaps in space
and wonderment
of chaotic nature

open minds
wide open hearts
will see

wholesome morsels
to nourish ourselves
our children.
