we'll walk today
walk for freedom
equality fairness

we who work at
your rough dirty work
want to join your country
not be criminals

we want to work
be family get education
have our children
learn English be Americans

Up Cortis Street
along Palm Avenue
down Glenwood across
Newave to Cortis again

our Spanish businesses
won't open today
our kids won't be
in school 2PM we walk
