Shame on You Pat

I think if someone would order that Pat Robertson get some psychological testing they would find that he is mentally unstable. How could he condemn terrorism in other countries when he advocates it here, is beyond me. I guess if the US murders a leader it is not a sin because the holier than thou Pat Robertson has sanctioned it. His veiws are warped to say the least. What is this world coming to my friends?

Folks are killing each other in the name of religion Trying to conquer the world with religious terrorism They start wars to display their power and might They enforce what is dogmatically wrong; they decide what is biblically right They throw rocks when their houses are made of glass They assume they know the answers and end up looking like an ass Don't try to tell other countries how to live their lives when folks in this country can barely survive I know you feel spiritual might, Pat, but that is not right if you want Chavez dead, grab yourself a gun and fight You do that dirty deed your goddamned self You squeeze the trigger and take him out yourself You are supposed to be a preacher for heaven's sake So what kind of comment is that for you to make. You did it from the pulpit with no conscience and no shame You're a religious hit man; Christianity you now defame Taking a life Pat Robertson is a mortal sin So how could you advocate this? What do you hope to win? Eternal life with the Almighty God? Eternal damnation Pat, is that something you can afford? I am a Christian and you sure don't represent me With spiritual leaders like you, where would Christianity be? Your behavior is appalling and I hope you know that You are a common criminal Pat and that is just a fact

Odd you should mention it. There is some word out now that there are people in agreement with Pat. What was once a horror is now an accepted fact of life. I once supported Pat Robertson when he was running for prez; I wish I never had--but I'm glad it didn't work out for him.

I was laughing during this entire reading of this poem because it is so true. I liked the way you were spassing out. This world is coming to a complete end. The church is being illed with liars and killers. Who can we trust but God himself. The wicked shall be destroyed in due season and I will repay thee sayest the Lord. You go girl!

Indeed, Shame on you, Pat ,and you are supposed to be a preacher! You
surely have let down the Christian community with your moronic statement.!

Amen- i am Catholic, and my first comment was "And he calls himself a Christian?" I do believe that there are times in life that we have to use action- pacifism is a wonderful theory, except not everyone lives by it, and those same people do not think twice about destroyig those who do. Great write.

Amen. Pat Robertson has betrayed his religion. And his followers.

Pat will face His Maker...and will answer for his crimes. We all will. Who are we to judge? Although I will admit, Pat gives Christians a bad name...not all of us agree with him.

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. :(

I couldn't agree with you more, Pamela - this was truly disgusting. And then he even tried to lie about what he had said.

I totally concur! As a Christian I'm sick to death of relgious piety and pastors etc putting Christ to shame! Thank God He is not religious nor does He sanction denominations! Thank you!
