Your Heart Beats Far Yet So Close
By: Sheila G
There is something
through the passionate way
that you write
that makes my heart ignite
~*~
I see you lying there completely bare
even the wind is made acutely aware
as your half-opened window
blows gently on your neck hairs
~*~
Your guitars are propped up
soon to be all finely tuned-up
waiting to sing of romance and making up
then I see you slowly sit up
~
Where are you going now?
What are you thinking?
~
Are you sleep walking
I hear the river babbling
a lonely happy man like you
should not be having womanly issues
~
When you speak
When you write
~
It is the knowing heart you do excite
just so you know, everything is alright
I wouldn't want a powerful shining knight
casting flight way off into midnight
~*~
Your heart beats far away yet feels close
I feel your energy in what you flawlessly say even while you doze
your kindness you easily display
through expressive verses that lead to romantic foreplay.
~
Quantum Leap!

Simply lovely as always, softly romantic and sensual but very sincerely written for the object of your desires...
Nice to see you posting so much here, your muse has returned!
Peace, love, and light,

Quantum Leap indeed, Shee!!! :))) First, my mind turning somersaults; and where the mind goes the body shall surely follow... good job I'm double-jointed!! I love such an unabashed enjoyment of full, fruity pleasure that is, at the same time, honest and free, without a hint of power-play or gender manipulation. Fine appreciation of the beauty of a man's mind and soul and a balanced physical reciprocity without the brooding dominatrix! Nicely done! This feels healthy, somehow... like my Dorset country air. Well, Shee, it's put colour into my cheeks anyhow, thank you!
... Likewise all the wonderful reviews you have left on my backlist today! I'm bowled over that you have taken the time and energy to be so attentive and can't thank you enough. You are such an encouragment! Bless you. Kate xx |

My heart?...hmm...I thing I left it in San Francisco, or somewhere around, but the poem above has perilously increased my blood pressure!
