Burning Up

If the universe caved in
and a smolder of burning began
where would our lives end
or would it...

If you burned up by my touch
and left a scar for others to see and such
where would our love go
who would want to know...
~~~~~~~~~
If our souls melted
and we became ONE
would love still begin
or had it really begun....
~~~~~~
Where, in the earthly mind
did I find these questions
I don't really know
but I do love the burning lessons
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For when you sleep soundly tonight
pray that when you turn off each light
that this moment won't be your last sight
how would your heart feel, in the dead of night.

My Friends and Readers of the heart, Soon  (in 2 glorious days) I will be returning to work ~
and being a School Bus Driver it is "very" important to me, I go to bed
early and up at the bright of dawn! I will write but not as much, I won't
be able to share or even read "YOU" as much as I do now,
but I will read a few, when my drifting eyes find your page to peruse!
