Fellow Den member Felix Perry has penned a lovely poem, "You Are", in response to the questions I played with here. I've posted a link to his site below. Please give it a read; I hope you are as touched by his answers as I was.

In truth, this poem wasn't intended to be romantic. It's simply my attempt to capture the things I wish my words could do. I guess you could consider it an ode to the muse, as such...

If I could be the light in your eyes,
To shower your world with dreams...
What would you see?

If I could be the light in your hands,
To sprinkle your stories with stars...
What would you read?

If I could be the light in your heart,
To spice your tomorrows with smiles...
What would you feel?

If I could be the light in your mind,
To stoke your causes with rainbows...
What would you believe?

I would see love in your heart, I would read love in your eyes, so sparkling and bright, I would feel that you are a loving person indeed, I would believe you are a very colorful and exciting person to live with. Good questioning write.

Mellisa you have asked all the right questions that a women (or man) in love should ask but already know the answers to in their heart.

Oh, I imagine my eyes would be filled with your everlasting concern for my welfare and attitude about life, and also that I would be smiling in return for your favors, as I am now. Very nice "feel-good" piece and there ain't nuttin' wrong with feel-good poetry if they are of this caliber.
