This poem was written by my daughter, Kalyn, who is 15. I was proud of her creativity and wanted to post it.

Fire and Ice
That can't be me and you?
Am I the fire?
Burning you out,
Breaking you down?
And in my destruction,
I get your wake..
Water waves thundering toward me,
Seas of regret.
Strike at any moment,
cool me down, take me out.
No it can't be..

More like wind and earth.
Your wind.
Moves people,
creates emotion.
Emotions fly widly in seconds
Yet you're so calm, serene.
A solution for happiness.
Earth completes you.
Gives you ground, things to move.
Boundries are a given.
Compatible but yet,
so different.

Will I always just burn you out?
Or can we be compatible?
