We need faith because we will never figure it out as life is beyond our comprehension. God Bless, Luke

SOMETIMES I WONDER

Sometimes I wonder
What life’s all about ?
Alone I’ll often ponder
But I never figure out

Why people have to die
So many seem to suffer
Evil people always lie
Is faith my only buffer ?

Sometimes I wonder
Why won’t God help out ?
Is He way up yonder ?
Why does he make us doubt ?

Does struggle make us stronger ?
Is suffering in His plan?
Why can’t we keep our loved ones longer ?
It’s so hard to understand.

I will never understand
All Life’s ups and downs
We’re part of a scheme so grand
With all it’s smiles and it’s frowns.

Believing is achieving
As we overcome our trials
Faith becomes convincing
As we fiddle with life’s dials.

Sometimes I wonder
What life is all about ?
Alone I often ponder
But never figure out .

I liked the poem, quite thoughtful in it's design. Obviously you took time to really think about this experience called "life". I was
struck by the line "faith becomes convincing as we fiddle with life's dials".

THE WORD SAYS, 'HIS' WAYS IS HIGHER THEN OURS...AS HIGH AS THE SKY IS FROM THE EARTH...SO, WE WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND HIS INFINITE WAYS. BUT SOMETIMES, AS YOU HAVE WELL STATED, WE ALL DO WONDER. BLESSINGS AND THANKS FOR SHARING. JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS

God has so many secrets yet to share with us. But your poem is good and questions a lot, that will be answered when all of us see and meet out maker. **********

Boy do I often for years wonder and ponder on the same thing that you have just written and expressed. As the years go by we see it wasn't in vain.

Excellent lines Luke:

Does struggle make us stronger ?
Is suffering in His plan?
Why can’t we keep our loved ones longer ?
It’s so hard to understande:

So many questions we wonder about in this life Luke, and they will all be answered one glorious day. I have often wondered why we are made to suffer, and why our loved ones are taken from us sooner than we expected. My mom died at 39 yrs old as she crossed the road. It took me years to come to terms with that, she was so young, Luke. A car hit her and kept going. They later found the person who did it. We must trust in God, for He knows the reasons and it will all be revealed to us one day. Keep writing Luke. I enjoy your poetry and your talent very much.
