If you take the time there are more than roses to smell

SIMPLE THINGS
Simple Things
A moment of silence
Peace in your heart
A world without violence
Love never apart .
Holding a loved one close
The joy of a good book
Quiet time with your spouse
A deep and respectful look .
A hot cup of coffee
A busy summer fair
Sweet apples with toffee
Flowers in her hair .
Sleeping in late
Your only first love
Your only first date
Cool rain from above .
Wonderful fall wedding
Sunday dinner at home
New calf , fresh bedding
That moment alone .
Living God’s Blessing
Loved one’s all around
The joy of expressing
That wonderful sound .

They are the things that last, aren't they.... the Simple Things! Excellent words, Luke.
