At the sunset of life you come to realize what is truly important. Luke
|
Living
To My Family
I stand on the mountain high.
Lifes map laid out before me.
So many choices! I sigh.
If only the future I'd see.
My cup is full of youth,
good health and energy.
Which way to go,south
to sun and synergy.
North,east or west
How at my age am I to know?
Perhaps I should follow the rest.
They all seem to know where to go.
I made a decion to break the rank.
I chose the narrow road alone.
God's gift of life I joyfully drank.
I worked my fingers to the bone.
Now I'm old as you can see.
But I've done well and I am proud.
Not of wealth that's came to me
but blessings I will shout out loud.
A life of learning constantly.
A life of living hopefully.
A life of living faithfully.
A life of loving unconditionaly.

Full of gleaming, glory to sublime verses.
