A poet is someone

Who writes a thought.

A Poet is someone

Who thinks a lot.

A person of contrasts

Who dreams a lot.

Reality seldom detracts

From goals that are sought.

They dream of perfection

In a world so wrought

With constant distraction

True joy is sought.

They write of life

As it happens to them

They strive through strife

And write on a whim.

Their goal to help others

Providing words in rhyme

helping like mothers

Providing direction in time.

Hearts that ache for mankind

Inspiring words that rhyme

Writing with inspired mind

Don't expect to make a dime.

Inspired from above

By an unknown source

Turn words to love

By caring of couse.

We love to write all day long

Hoping to help others in need.

A chorus of humanity's song

Hoping to plant a hopeful seed.
