Beneath the wearing sands of time

Lies the beauty hidden deep

Hidden treasures so sublime

Descriptive words still asleep.

Studying life all the time

Loving life so divine

Thinking of words that will rhyme

A beautiful poet’s thoughts will find.

Wonderful words to touch your heart

Coax emotions from that inner being

Who hides from love so far apart

Looking for hope but seldom seeing.

That inner self that wants to care

Finds the beauty hidden deep

In the words that are written there

In a poem that’s yours to keep.

A poet’s beauty is in that word

Thoughts exposed for all to share

Striking deep with out a sword

Giving many cause to care.

Read those words to warm your heart

As a beautiful poet applies the art

Of giving that inner being a start

Understanding you and God aren’t far apart.

Restore your faith in times of sorrow
