Seldom Does A Day Go By
Seldom does a day go by
That I feel the same
Often I have to sigh
Knowing I have no fame.
I wanted to achieve so much
To make my life worthwhile
Alas fame so hard to touch
You just hide and smile.
Some seem to move with ease
In limelight so bright
Most driven to their knees
Life being such a fight.
What’s the secret is all I ask
To be adored by so many.
Why is it such a task
So few admirers hardly any.
Some days I think
I’m on my way
Then it seems in just a blink
Success just seems to go away.
Seldom does a day go by
That I do the same
All I do is try and try
What a silly game.
