It's just a dream.
|
They are pictures in your mind,
Of things you want to do,
Or of things you want to happen.
Dreams are what they are called.
When people are young,
Their dreams are of the future.
They are about all the things,
They want to do when they get older.
When people are old,
Their dreams are of the past,
They are about all the things,
They did not do when they were younger.
Considering this fact,
I will look at my dream
and pursue it immediately.
Because I fear,
That when I am older,
My dream may be nothing,
But an old faded picture.

You are right about the nature of dreams. Young men have visions and old men dream dreams of things past.

Is it really 'just a dream'?
I love the message wrapped within your words.
'Because I fear,
That when I am older,
My dreams may be nothing,
But an old faded picture.'
Wonderful words, and ones which we should all take note of. There's nothing worse than thinking 'what if?'
Jessica. |

You use very good logic. I guess that's why the famous quote, "Sieze the dy" makes so much sense. Thanks for sharing!
