Thunder storms are cool.
|
Thunder BOOMS.
I hear the sound.
Lightning FLASHES.
I see the sight.
The sky turns black within an instant,
A storm begins to form.
The wind blows hard.
I feel its power.
People run.
They try to hide.
They are afraid of the storm.
I do not move.
I stand very still.
I have no fear of the storm.

If we always try to run from the storms of life, then we slowly die an inner death from the lacking of learning.

On the other hand, there are those that fear the storm. I am one of them, a classic stormphobic. BUT: they also provide some of my greatest inspiration. Go figure!
Loved your poem, you convey the storm's energy succinctly. Well done!
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla. |

There is a swift-upping to your rhythmic verse, G., which promotes building passion, and acceptance.
