What do you think its about?
|
A twist of a key,
A push of the button,
A beast has been awaken.
The beast is strong.
Its roar is mighty.
I straddle the beast
And grab on tight.
Now the beast and I are one.
With a nudge of my foot
And a twist of my wrist
Our journey begins.
I ride calmly,
On the back of this beast
While it lets out a fierce howl.
Miles away people hear its thunderous sound.
With a slight lean,
The beast knows where to turn.
We move as one in symbiotic grace.
On our journey we tackle winding hills.
We speed down long straight-aways.
We slowly prowl down city streets.
Heads turn and people stare,
Some look fearfully, others look respectfully
But everyone looks.
Night falls.
Now the beast is nocturnal.
It is still loud and
The quiet of the night
Is crushed by its roar.
A cycloptic glow illuminates the road.
Its blood red instruments
Shine in my face.
I look to the left and see nothing but darkness
I look to the right and see nothing but darkness
The beast and I own the road alone.
With muscles aching
and miles of road beaten
The beast and I return home.
With a twist of a key the beast now slumbers.
It no longer howls wildly,
It no longer leans deeply into curvy roads.
We are no longer
Joined in symbiotic grace.
We both stand alone,
Until we are joined together again.

Such fine work. I'm thinking you would very likely have success at script writing. Such symbolism amazes me in one so young as yourself.

LOL, Roadtrail, yeah, I hate em, one took the life of a dear one 18 yrs hence, I wont let my Son have one, haha, he's nearly 20.
I can just block my ears and hope.
They know I used to ride two up on back of all kinds of Bikes, with Bro and friends, and my Father, so I know the hoot, oh yeah. But now with a healthy respect.
