DREAMS, DESIRE, DESTINY

– You walk alone –

You race the cold, dark night, a lonely form,
Your gaze directed up beyond the storm-
Torn veils of grey that fly
Across the sky.

– Your heart is sad –

Your mind probes far, where suns shine bright and fill
The void with pregnant light, until
The universe teems rife
With vibrant life.

– You feel the vibes –

Mere tiny points of light your eyes behold,
So far in time and space, their rays grown cold.
Yet they embrace the source
Of boundless force.

– You sense the strength –

A force to span the universe, to guide
Whole worlds. Does it perhaps decide
The feelings in your heart,
In all or part?

– You search the sky –

You hurl your wishes at the constellations
And hope to glimpse a sign, a revelation,
A guiding light to see
Your destiny.

– You pray for light –

Can you decode the message written there?
Will we find happiness? Does heaven care?
Will our searching lives converge?
Our spirits merge?

– You ache to know –
You're swayed by fears, uncertainty and doubts.
The future seems forever veiled in clouds.
Have faith, do not despair
My love, I'm there!

– You sense my love –

God won't create such love and then destroy
It well before it blossoms into joy!
Fate moves the stars that guide
You to my side.

– You gather hope –

Trust love and face the unknown without fright.
Your fate's an empty book for you to write.
Go shape your destiny,
Because you're free.

– You break the chains –

It's written in the stars with sacred fire,
That you deserve the bliss that you desire.
Perhaps tomorrow yet
Your fortune's met.
