Gaining wisdom
|
NO OTHER ANSWER
During the bustling daylight
of my life, afraid of living,
wasting the sunshine of
youth, I blindly followed
the "fight for peace"
tradition-- not knowing
my brother,
No other answer.
Until the shadow softened
night, nocturnal meditations
of age, the rage subsiding,
the blind eyes opening...
I began to see, that peace
is in the knowing of
my brother
No other answer.
