While attention has been diverted by situations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Iran we forget the plight of many Africans.


Hunger has taken his family,
War has taken his legs and eyes,
All he wants is to know once more
The taste of clean water before he dies.

 

A Wellspring Of Human Rights

Yes, a poem showing the strength in simplicity of words, my favorite kind-this is very true, and the sad part is that it keeps happening and their governments are insanely corrupt. Thanks for adding this and keeping people aware-love and peace, Michelle
