I occaisonally get really pissed off with Authorsden, when I find that one of my poems, though only slightly risque has been bounced off the site. This one has run up a couple of thousand hits last time I looked, which is some time ago but when today I came to link to it, it was gone. I was never given a warning or a chance to defend my work.
So for the prissy, precious people who think thry are saving someone's soul, this poem is not about having sex with aliens, it is a metaphor for how we can feel when we get in a relationship with someone who is not what they seem to be. If that offends you I suggest you give my work a miss in future, my writing is full of metaphor and allusion more risque than this, you just aren't capable of understanding the references.

Audio: Alien in my bed

Alien in my bed,
you got here under false pretences,
took me in
with the speed of your
slick -lipped lip sticked mouth.

I thought you were one of my breed,
but you belong to another race
somewhere out in deep space
where the universe is expanding
faster than my vocabulary.

You drew me in, snared me
in finespun words
and spider web eye liner,
darkness deceived and silver
skinned words dazzled.

Bright and brittle, morning
sees through your deception.
You’re an alien in my bed
Reaching out across light years,
With your promises of love

To wash from my mind these
primitive ideals that bind me
to the endless human quest
Lead me towards a black hole
Where self is lost in the vacuum.
