Why do we deny the very things that could make us feel so good
Why put off the decision to help when we know we really should
The answers are not easy and the devil knows just how to get us to play along
He tells us it doesn't matter anyway and, if you do you'll only be considered wrong
But that's his job and we must not forget that as believers we can hold him sway
but only when we strive to get our selves and our needs completely out of the way
So go to Him now admit your sloth your indifference or how things might go for you
and come against the evil one by doing what His Word says you should do .
He will go before you in ways you'll never know, and when you put others first
He'll bless your efforts mightily and be with you wherever you go.
To think that you can please Him, by going to church and saying all the right things
Is like thinking you can fly with broken useless wings.
His Word is clear and if you seek it for your daily path, you'll find yourself doing
for others and putting your own wants and needs last.
And when you do it allows Him to fill your hopes way past what you could,
He'll make the crooked places straight, and you'll shine with His Righteousness
and ALLwill be in His perfect will,
for everyone's gain and good.

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
