Capture a spare unused minute,
And contemplate old filled days
Lost inside a forgotten past;
Who is it you would most like to see,
With the passage of the years?
Could it be old teachers,
Or yet a lost friend?
The Elders pass on
Leaving Us alone with Our thoughts,
Our brethren of yesterday
Now Patriarchs of their own Clan.
Miles and Days stand between
Us who were once so close;
Is this the true penalty of Age?

Who shot Liberty Valence?
Who sang the song?
Me and John Wayne, We need a writ.
