Best I might do to honor a valued friend. Sad it is to be so weak, when the Friendship was so strong.
|
One wanders through the debris of humanity Searching for a compassionate Soul, Hoping beyond Hope for some spring of gaity Within the battered mixing bowl.
Too often do We find grief, and lack of fealty But then We find esqusite Gems full Of honored friendship beyond mere paltry, Upholding Us, which is Our basic goal.
Cherish All We had so very fleetingly, Swearing to maintain the beautiful foal Given birth in mutual humorous banalty, Though Reality rips at the desired knoll.
