Cruel scroll blasts the Soul
As Human stands at the black wall,
Listing a story of Death
From another forgotten War.
Why does Anyone celebrate,
As We compile Our newest lengthy list
From another distant place.

Good job with this one. I've been there and stood in silence as I thnked ALL of those many many names. its a very humbling experience and one that every American should partake in. You've captured that in this piece. My uncle's name is there. Thank you for this.
