a new look at aging

Age is something that comes to us all.

For some it's the Winter of life; for some it's the Fall.

For some it's the Summer or even the Spring.

For some it's the beginning of every great thing.

Age releases us from worries about wasting our life.

Age gives us the freedom to enjoy without strife

the things in life that are free to us all.

Without worry about stumbling or even a fall

that would embarrass us later in life if it's found

by some enteprising and nosey information hound.

Age is mandatory; or so they say

Growing up is optional; for each our own way.

So live life to the fullest and one day you'll see

Age makes little difference to you and me.

I love it! Age does have a way of allowing us to accept ourselves for who we are and enjoy being all that and more! Blessings...Frances

Yes, age makes a difference in how we view life and things we have. I am 63 will be 64 in Oct. Many things I find I dont want or need that I used to think I absolutely had to have. Don't need a newer car, but would like a yellow one. Can downsize my life accordingly and go on living with less. Age is coming faster and faster each year and the years go by much too fast.

This is so true. This year I will be 55. While the freshness of youth fades, the beauty of truth deepens, becoming more defined in our days, in our eyes. Thank you for such a lovely perception.
