| When I was 9 years old, now 63, I wanted time to stop and to stay at 9 always. It comes back to me now, and ever since death of husband on 8/17/07 it is more felt than usual. I guess God wanted me to live a longer life and experience 2 marriages and children and all and he has a plan still for my welfare. I trust in him but like this poem and it tells it like it is. Everything oh so true in life today. |

I can relate to these sentiments, Liana. Sometimes when I close my eyes it seems I can feel time fly past my face like a breeze. Thank you for sharing this gift. Love and peace to you,

The hope that can be felt in your poem is beautiful and fragile against relentless time. But... how can the train of your own existence leave without you? ;) So many different perceptions of life we can have in a lifetime!

A gentle moan from a hurting and trembling soul caught by the teeth of time that shreds our weak dreams.
Then again...always is another train coming next.

These words were written by a spirit who understood the concept no soul has ever put to words. Mr. Kardiukov's versatile perception allowed him to write from a scope that is an asset to the reputed Russian literal tradition and a gift to those who embrace immaculate beauty. Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed being on this page.
