Liana, you've captured the agony of the holocaust in verse and my heart goes out to everyone who has lost. I feel a sense of loss over the pleas for help and there was none. I share your compassion of those who prayed for God's help and he seemed not to hear, or rather not respond. I too, have shared a lifetime of pain and endurance with catastopic upheaval off the rictor scale. Outstanding heartfelt poem. May God continue to love you. You are a blessing to impart this poem.

| Liana, this is the most stirring poem I've read in a while. It is filled with a tragedy we've all heard about, but fortunately, many of us have not experienced. My heart goes out to you and anyone whose memories are based on the loss of family and friends to the Holocaust. |

Liana, what powerful words you have spoken in your writing. I cannot imagine having to endure this kind of pain. It is beyond my scope of understanding as to how man is able to inflict this type of torture on other human beings and continue to live their lives as though nothing happened. May all your days ahead be filled with nothing less than contentment.

Those that start wars do it without a thought to the innocents that are caught in the crossfire, not only of the weapons but on the consequences.
Ossetia is not different to any other country desvastated by the power greed of a few, but Ossetia is the late one to suffer the consequences of the international inability to put and end to the ambitions of a few megalomaniacs men with ideas of self grandeur.

| Somalia is another case where the world is just looking but not acting. When God gave us free will it was for better or worse by those it was given to and with this free will we are responsible for our actions not God. We pray that this will get better but if it doesn't who is to blame? Where aid can be given we should all help to correct the problem but apparently this world as it's made up with leadership that flaunts everybody and does what it pleases is one that only total annihilation will be the answer in the end. |

I am but one small voice here in my country. But I will use my residency and rights of citizenship to call upon the leaders of the United States to lend support and assistance to little Ossetia. It's size does not reduce its urgent needs. And tonight I will add my prayers to those others of Authors Den who are so moved.
Thank you, my dear Liana, for sharing this powerful message with us.

Those who have perscuted you and your people will have God's wrath brought upon them...know this is true. In the meantime keep praying and I will too. Love and hugs, Bonnie |
