this is what my brother is to me but do not let him know

Big Brother

I’ve got a brother who’s bigger than me
Cos when I was born he was two years past three
And ever since then however I try
I’ve always stayed smaller, at least in my eye

Maybe it’s so because I’m not talking
About his height or the speed of his walking
But about his older big bro attitude
To give the young-one some bro latitude

In my eyes he’s wiser, even when he is not
If he’s ever not been I must have forgot
Although I remember his teenage dress sense
Not very wise to wear loons, boy he’s dense

But as I grow older and wiser myself
It seems he gets more from his wisdom store shelf
Oh how can it be, but I’m not complaining
Cos he looks after me, he’s had lots of training

What I’m trying to say and not getting quite right
Is that my big bro keeps me right in his sight
For I’ve got the best big brother by far
He’s truly fantastic and a big brother star

He is, but if you tell him I said it – I’ll deny it!!
