Swimming, splashing, sexy siren,
in the oceans of my mind.
Sparkling scales reflect the sunlight,
stare too long and I'll go blind.
Upper torso, skin of satin,
face with silky hair outlined.
Singing sweetly to seduce me,
songs of freedom unconfined;
songs of such exotic settings,
distant from the daily grind.
I would gladly chase this vision,
soon surrender to her spell;
soothe the ache from worlds not vanquished,
cushioned by the foamy swell;
spend forever, so enchanted,
in the arms of mademoiselle.
Lucid moments say I'm crazy;
danger lurks where mermaids dwell.
Though my soul may be the forfeit,
still the ending's yet to tell.
