A Love Poem...

From my new book of poetry, 'My Secret Heart', under my pen name, Samishii Suzume, "The Lonely Sparrow"...

I touched you in the moonlight

And your skin was warm and soft,

I touch you in the moonlight

And you filled all my waking thoughts,

I touched you in the moolight

And my blood ran warm as the sun,

I touched you in the moonlight

And the impact was like a gun,

It exploded in my senses

And it caused me to reel,

To stagger like a drunken man

From the softness and the feel,

What’s it like to kiss you

How can I describe,

What it’s like to feel

Stars go off inside...
